First ever Q3 was released by Audi back in 2012. Since then, we had opportunity to see redesigned versions in 2014 and 2015, as well as RS Q3 and SQ3 models. As we could notice, rear spoiler now looks even bigger then before. It also has tuned diffuser and wider sills. Up front, 2020 Audi RS Q3 has much bigger air intakes, restyled bumper, wide single frame grille and sharp LED headlights. Side view reveals massive brakes with frilled ceramic rotors, six-piston calipers and enormous 20-inch wheels. Smaller Audi SQ3 will probably run on 19-inch wheels. Inside the cabin, we expect to see Audi Virtual Cockpit and three-spoke steering wheel. Audi will use materials such as Alcantara leather, aluminum and even carbon.

2020 Audi RS Q3 engine should be 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder unit. This engine will be capable of developing as least 400 horsepower. Smaller 2020 Audi SQ3 engine will be 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit from Audi S3. It is expected to produce around 340 horsepower. Both versions will be equipped with Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard. Engines will be combined with seven-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission. Production of 2020 RS Q3 will be based on Volkswagen’s new MQB platform. There is no detailed information about Audi RS Q3 fuel economy specs.

2020 Audi RS Q3 release date is expected sometime during this year. Main rivals on the performance SUV market will be BMW X1 M and Mercedes-AMG GLA 45. 2020 Audi RS Q3 price range should be slightly higher than current version, which is sold for around $66,000.
