Smallest coupe produced by Porsche is 718 Cayman. Since its first appearance, rumors about high-performance model of this coupe were always present in the automotive world. Time has come for all new 2020 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS to hit the market. However, it is till not officially announced weather it will be called just Cayman GT4 or Cayman GT4 RS. Spy shots of upcoming 2020 Cayman GT4 were taken during testing at Nürburgring race track. It is expected for Porsche to use more carbon-fiber in the production process, which will eventually lead to less weight and much better performance. Speaking of exterior design, future 718 Cayman GT4 looks like it has taken design cues from both 718 Cayman and Cayman GT4. Up front, new Porsche is wider and it comes with more aggressive design. It also has bigger air vents, new bumper and new bi-xenon headlights. Side view reveals wider wheel arches, reshaped side skirts and new 20-inch wheels. Around back, 718 Cayman GT4 for 2020 has new 3D LED taillights, more aggressive diffuser and large wing spoiler. Inside the cabin, leather or Alcantara sport seats are always expected in this type of car, along with sports steering wheel. It should also get redesigned dashboard and instrument cluster. Features such as Apple Car Play and Porsche Car Connect are also available in this model. Standard equipment will include Sport Chrono Package and Sport Plus button. Latter will enable 718 Cayman GT4 to have quicker steering, stiffer suspension and better throttle response.

2020 718 Cayman GT4 engine range has not been officially confirmed. However, it is expected to be powered by upgraded 3.8-liter flat-six unit. This engine should deliver more than 400 horsepower in combination with manual transmission. Porsche will probably also offer optional PDK transmission. Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 top speed should be set slightly under 190 mph.
