Legacy was introduced for the first time back in 1989. Since then Subaru has released six generations of this famous sedan. Time has come for all new 2020 Subaru Legacy to hit the market as 7th generation of this model. Speaking of exterior design, new 2020 Legacy front fascia comes with active grille shutters, sharper headlights, mate-black bar on lower fascia and C-shaped daytime running lights. Side view reveals 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels, redesigned sideview mirrors and wider fenders. Around back, upcoming Legacy has raised trunk line and updated taillights. Inside the cabin, Legacy got some fresh look regarding cabin layout. First of all, it now comes with new angular dashboard. New instrument panel is placed on the center console. Double stitching and soft-touch upholstery can be found on the seats, doors and center console. Future 2020 Legacy also has Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, 10-way power seats, 11.6-inch HD Subaru Starlink multimedia touchscreen, TomTom navigation, Wi-Fi, Sirius XM radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, rear-view camera and high-quality Harman-Kardon audio system with 12 speakers. 2020 Legacy will be offered in six different trims: Base, Sport, Premium, Limited, Limited XT and Touring XT. Inside the cabin, there is more space for the passengers on the new model. It is packed with many safety systems and features, including Eye Sight Driver Assist Technology, which comes as standard equipment.

2020 Subaru Legacy engine is 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged unit, generating 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration time from 0 to 60mph is set at 6.1 seconds 2020 Subaru Legacy fuel economy for version with this engine is set at 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Second engine choice is 2.4-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated powertrain. It is capable of producing 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. Version with this engine can accelerate up to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds. Also, fuel economy for this version is 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. Both engines are combined with Lineatronic continuously variable transmission.
2020 Subaru Legacy release date and price review
2020 Subaru Legacy release date is expected by the end of 2019. It was revealed at 2019 Chicago Auto Show for the first time. Main rivals on the market will be Honda Accord and Mazda 6. There is still no information about 2020 Subaru Legacy price. However, it should be close to the price of current version, which is priced around $22,500.
